The body of a man found on Tuesday night at a railway tunnel near to Todmorden is believed to be that of a missing Bacup man.

While the man is yet to be formally identified, Lancashire Police believe he is 23-year-old Adam Conroy, who went missing from his Baker Street, Bacup, home on February 8.

Mr Conroy suffered from illnesses which require daily medication and which he did not have in his possession, police had said earlier in the week.
