A Brownie pack is setting a fine example when it comes to being healthy.
The 2nd Hebden Bridge Brownies successfully worked as a pack to complete their Healthy Heart Badge, which involved filling in a daily food diary, learning about what’s good and bad to eat and how to stay healthy, and taking part in good exercises to do.
To demonstrate their knowledge, the pack completed a poster, which can be viewed in the reception area of Valley Medical Centre, Hebden Bridge.
Christine Jackson, a Brownie leader, said: “The leaders are very proud and pleased with the poster. Our thanks go to the doctors and staff at Valley Medical Centre, especially Barbara who arranged our visit and Karen Mersa who is pictured receiving the poster.”
