Churches Together in Hebden Royd have a busy Easter programme.

Last week Palm Sunday (March 29), members were out and about in Hebden Bridge town centre distributing palms.

They also put up the giant cross on the hilltop at Horsehold, which overlooks the town of Hebden Bridge.

On Good Friday, April 3, the traditional Walk of Witness will leave Hebden Bridge Town Hall, St George’s Street, at noon and will make its way through the town.

Finally, at 6.30am on Easter Sunday, April 5, a special “Sonrise” service to mark Christ’s resurrection, will be held at the giant cross at Horsehold.
