Woman's body in Hebden Water

POLICE are investigating after a woman's body was found in Hebden Water in the centre of Hebden Bridge on Monday morning.
The woman is believed to local and in her 40s was discovered near to the wavy steps, in Bridge Gate, Hebden Bridge, at 9.05am
She was spotted face down in the middle of the river by local resident as she was walking over the Old Bridge.
The woman's family have been informed of her death and a post mortem is due to be carried out on Tuesday morning.
