NEXT month Hebden Bridge will again play host to vintage and classic car owners and enthusiasts from all over the North of England and beyond.
On Saturday and Sunday August 2/3 the 26th Hebden Bridge Vintage and Classic Car Rally will be held on Calder Holmes Park organised by the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge.

A large turnout of veteran, vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, commercial
and military vehicles is expected over the two day event, with one of the highlights being the scenic run on the Sunday morning. This year the route will take the cars participating in the run through Heptonstall before finishing at Calder Holmes Park.

The many historic cars and other vehicles, which will be on display, will be the main attraction but the event is designed as a fun day out for all the family. There will be stalls offering a wide range of goods and services, children’s entertainment, food and refreshments available on the field and live music on both days to add to the mood of the occasion.

The rally, which was founded by the Yorkshire Historic Car Club and has been organised for the last few years by the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge, is supported by a number of businesses and organisations in the area including HBOS, Frost Auto Restoration, Murts Motor Centre, Calrec Audio, Sweet and Maxwell, the Hebden Bridge Business Association and Hebden Royd Council.

All proceeds from the money raised by the event goes to charitable and good causes both national and international with organisations and charities in the Upper Calder Valley being the largest beneficiaries.

Further information and entry forms can be found at www.hebdenbridge-vintageweekend.org.uk.
