THE owners of a popular district inn which shut suddenly this week have promised it will reopen soon.
The Dusty Miller and Coiners Restaurant, at Mytholmroyd, was closed mysteriously causing locals to fear it could remain out of business for good.

But yesterday, owners Punch Taverns insisted the inn - which also has four rooms for accommodation - would be reopening.

A spokesman said: “Our priority is to re-open the Dusty Miller as soon as possible.

“The current licensee has taken the decision to surrender their lease and cease trading.

“We are working quickly to recruit a new licensee and confident that the pub will re-open very soon.

“This is a great pub and we look forward to working with the new licensee to help them build a successful, sustainable business that continues to be a credit to the local community.”

He refused to comment on why the current licensee had left.
