POLICE are looking for a man who has been firing an air rifle at street lights and windows.
Foot and bike patrols have been stepped up as they search for the person who they believe lives locally.

Derelict buildings, windows and street lights have been targeted in the attacks in the Mytholmroyd and Luddenden Foot areas.

Officers are looking for a young man, believed to use the nickname 'KC'. They would like to speak to him about the criminal damage.

The man has been seen several times by the canal and police officers have been patrolling the canal towpath on bikes in a bid to catch him.

If anyone has any information or knows the identity of the suspect, contact PC Hibbin at Hebden Bridge on 01422 318181 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
