A NEW Upper Calder Valley venue will host an evening of improvised music in memory of Sarah Royle.
Madeleine Brooks and company will perform at The Polished Knob, Burnley Road, Todmorden on Saturday night (July 31)from 9pm in memory of Sarah, who died after falling from a balcony in Singapore last month.
Madeleine, who was at school with Sarah's sister, Johanna, said: "It will be a night of funk, folk and blues sung with soul."
The evening will be the latest in a series of events held in the Upper Calder Valley at which people have gathered to remember Sarah.
There are plans to create a memorial for her in Hebden Bridge.
