Motorcyclist killed after collision with wall

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 19 year old motorcyclist from Queensbury was killed after his bike crashed into a wall and van in Hebden Bridge on Tuesday night.
The Suzuki SV 650 motorcyclist was in collision with a roadside wall and a Mercedes Vito in Heptonstall Road, just below Queens Terrace, Hebden Bridge, at 9.28pm.

The rider, Adam Hamer, aged 19, was taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The road was closed for five hours.

A policespokesman said: "Prior to the collision it is thought that the motorcyclist was riding with another five motorcyclists. We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the riders prior to the collision."
