Member of first band returns 25 years later

A MEMBER of the first band ever to play Hebden Bridge Trades Club returns to the club 25 years later with his latest outfit.
On Saturday, May 17, Mr Skin tread the boards at the venue and are headed by a former Hebden Bridge resident, Dave Morris aka Mr Skin, on guitar and lead vocals alongside Philippe Deyzieux on drums and backing vocals and Dan Perry on bass.

Dave was a member of the first band ever to play at the club when it opened in the early eighties – and is back to celebrate the club's 25th anniversary.

His band at the time was the Apocalypse Choir.

On Sunday, May 18, Amnesty International presents local hero Chris Green talking about his White Ribbon Campaign against violence against women.

Cosmopolitan magazine made Chris Green the Ultimate Man of the Year 2007 for heading the global campaign.

Weaving together strands of world, rock, folk and dance, Kangaroo Moon return to Hebden Bridge Trades Club on Friday, May 16.
