Six homes from single agricultural building
Plans to convert an agricultural building into six dwellings and the demolition of a red brick building to create parking spaces at Old Chamber, Spencer Lane, Erringden, have been submitted to Calderdale Council by Mrs G. Jones.
Listed building consent is also being sought.
A supporting statement from agent Philip S. Ryley and Co, Halifax, says the proposal would retain and enhance the existing building in a sustainable way that reflected the character of the area, keeping traditional forms and proportions. Increased height required to accommodate a more traditional roof pitch will be compensated for by the loss of the red brick building.
