THE LAUNCH of Mytholmroyd Walkers Action takes place on September 29 at the Good Shepherd Church, Mytholmroyd.
Three new circular and waymarked routes that all begin at Mytholmroyd Station will be showcased.

The routes - Wood Top, Scout Rock and Churn Milk Joan - feature in a fully illustrated leaflet complete with maps and photographs.

Calder Valley MP Christine McCafferty and Mayor of Hebden Royd Nader Fekri will be among those speaking at the launch, which begins at 11am.

Coun Fekri said he was very much looking forward to the event.

“The three guided walks are just as beautiful as those in Hebden Bridge and I think they will be a boost for Mytholmroyd,” he added.

“This is a great example of activists, Hebden Royd Town Council and Calderdale Council working together.”

Following the speeches, a guided walk to Wood Top, Scout Rock and a short walk for children, who should be accompanied by an adult, will leave at 11.30am.
