COINING and weaving artefacts are being sought by a school with a particular interest in Hebden Bridge history.
Class Three at Old Town Primary School in Billy Lane would like to study the objects as part of a history project.

Teacher Joanne Buckley has planned a walk to Bell House, the home of Coiners leader David Hartley and the group members are reading Gold Pieces by Phyllis Bentley.

Django Claughan, eight, from Class Three, said: “Mrs Buckley has even written a musical based on the book, which we’re really excited about.

“If anyone has a shuttle, a guinea or any of the tools used, we would love to see them and we promise take really good care of them.”
